For most people, managing your Spotify password is as east as managing any other password. But since i have a ton of questions on this topic, I decided to address it here. Here's everything you need to know about creating a Spotify password.
Creating The Password
First of all, you create your password when creating an account. You will only create a password if you sign up independently and all the rules of a good password should apply here. If you use a third party service like Facebook to create your account, then you'll be using your Facebook credentials to sign in to Facebook.
How To Change The Password
Changing your password mainly depends on how you created it. If you signed up for Spotify independently with your email, then you can easily change your password without worrying about anything else.
But if you used Facebook, then changing your password means changing your Facebook password. Changing your Facebook password means you'l be using your new password to sign in to Facebook and any other service that you signed up for using Facebook.
Forgot Your Password?
Forgetting your password isn't anything new. although you should use a good password manager like Google's password manager to maintain all your passwords. But still of your forget, how you handle this situation still depends on how you signed up.
For a normal (username/password) account, you can reset it following these steps from Webpro Education. If you used Facebook to sign up, and can't remember your Facebook password, then you'll need to reset your Facebook password to be able to get back into your Spotify account.
