Your Instagram account is public by default. Anyone can see your profile, look at your pictures, comments and even follow you.
But you can make your Instagram account private. And that way, only the people you allow, will be able to interact with you on Instagram.
- Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone.
- Then tap on your profile pic in the bottom right side to open your profile page.
- Three lines in the top right side of your profile page.
- Tap on settings at the bottom
- On the settings page, tap on Privacy
- Account Privacy Turn on this switch to make your account private.
