What To Do Before Deleting:
Before deleting your Facebook account, make sure you are sure you want to. And that you're aware there will be no turning back. Once your account and all it's data is deleted from the Facebook servers, there will be no turning back.
For good measure, keep an archive of your Facebook information offline in case you need to retrieve something from there in future.
If you care enough, let your friends and important Facebook contacts know that you're leaving. If you need to keep in touch, let them know where else you can keep in touch.
Transfer any important Facebook pages that you have created and wish to keep. Maybe to another Facebook account or to someone else.
