Deleting contacts on the iPhone is still one of those things you’d think that after all these years, Apple would have made easy and more intuitive.
But even in iOS 12/13 there’s no simple way to delete a contact.
You still have to go to contacts app, which you can also access from the dialer app by tapping on contacts.
Then tap on the contact you want to delete. In the upper right corner, tap on Edit. When the contact is in edit mode, scroll down untill you find ‘Delete contact’
Tap on that, the contact’s deleted.
Now this is not a very complicated process for deleting one or two or even three contacts. But if you have a bunch of contacts you want to delete, there’s no way to select multiple or even all the contacts and delete them. Imagine that.
But chances are, you’re using your Apple ID on your iphone and if you grab a computer and log in to your iCloud account, you can delete multiple contacts.
Icloud Sign in Click on contacts
Select multiple contacts by holding down the control button on your keyboard, and Delete.
To delete all contacts, Ctrl+A to select all.
That will delete cotacts from your iCloud as well as on your iPhone.
