But what if you want to Delete only the Gmail account and retain the Google account and everything else in it? How do you do that?
So Gmail, being a Google service can be deleted while still retaining the rest of the Google account but then this will result in one challenge.
Everytime you log in to your google account or one of it’s services, you use your gmail address as the username; so when you delete your Gmail account ( you’ll also be deleting that Gmail address) , you’ll need an alternative non-Gmail address that you’ll be using to log in to your Google account and all the other services. Maybe yahoo or Hotmail or any other Email address that’s not hosted on Google. So you need to have that ready before you start this process.
